Guidelines for advertising in Mexico



In Mexico, 1win operates in full compliance with the local laws, and it is important that all of you, our partners, also follow them. If you have any questions, please contact your personal manager — they will always help you.


Requirements for advertising

Advertising terms and conditions. Make sure that the promotion terms and conditions are described clearly and concisely so as not to mislead the audience about the services provided.

Call to action. Avoid using direct calls to place bets, it is prohibited.

Using brand. Be sure to use the name «1win» in text ads, and the brand logo in graphic ads. 

Domain. Use only the domain 1win.mx with your referral code. If you use another domain, the clients won’t be able to open the website.

Currency. Specify winning amounts in Mexican pesos: $ or MXN — in Spanish, MX$ — in English. Exceptions include promotions with a prize pool in different currencies, and amounts in images that are examples or design elements. 

Offline advertising. It is mandatory to approve the placement of such advertising with your personal manager.

Age restrictions. Target audience of advertising is from 18 years old.

Disclaimer. Advertising banners can only be placed using disclaimer, and you shouldn’t change its text.

Intellectual property. Use other people’s content only with the consent of the right holders. It applies to photos, logos, trademarks, images of people and music. You can use 3D models of personal characters or animals wearing sport uniforms. Club colors and numbers on the characters’ uniform are acceptable. Players’ names can be used without direct associations with the particular sportsman. For example: «Cane», «Harry», «Harry C.», «H. Cane».


Using disclaimer

Advertising banners must contain the permission number, include information about the prohibition of underage gambling and encouragement to play responsibly, as well as a reminder that games are only intended for entertainment and recreation. 

When creating your own creatives, you should include the disclaimer at the bottom of the image. Make sure that the text is readable and well perceptible. You can contact your personal manager for help with the application. All the official promotional banners already include the disclaimer.




Based on the content of the ads, there are two types of disclaimers:

If the material doesn’t advertise promotions, and it mentions only brand or website, use the following text:

«Permiso SEGOB 8.S.7.1/DGG/SN/94. Juegos de apuestas prohibidos para menores de edad. Juegue responsablemente, no olvide que el principal propósito es la recreación, diversión y esparcimiento».

(«Permission SEGOB 8.S.7.1/DGG/SN/94. Underage gambling is prohibited. Play responsibly, don’t forget that the main purpose is recreation, entertainment and leisure»).

If the material advertises promotions or bonuses, use the text with the link to the terms and conditions of the promotion:

«Permiso SEGOB 8.S.7.1/DGG/SN/94. Consulta bases y restricciones en https://1win.mx/bonuses. 18+ Juegue responsablemente. No olvide que el principal propósito es la recreación, diversión y esparcimiento».

Using intellectual property

When using images or their parts, take into account the fact that they can be protected with intellectual rights. In order not to violate them, firstly you need to get the permission of the owners.

Don’t use without prior agreement of the right holders:

  • copyrighted images. These include photos, illustrations, paintings, and the other materials created by the authors;

  • trademarks and logos. Using trademarks without the consent of the right holders can violate their rights for trademarks. It also applies to logos of sport leagues and teams; 

  • images of people. Publishing photo and video materials of people without their permission violate their rights for confidentiality and personal image;

  • works of art. In particular, images of sculptures, paintings, architectural objects and other artistic objects;

  • musical compositions including lyrics and melodies.

Using materials generated with the artificial intellect (AI)

If you use in the ads images and other materials generated with the AI, be sure to:

  • check if the elements generated with the AI are copyrighted: text, background images and others;

  • check the rights for using materials created with the AI. Some services can restrict commercial use of such content, or require to specify the authority; 

  • specify the reference for an original AI model or developer in the description or links to the materials; 

  • exclude controversial or offensive images that can be accidentally created with the AI.
